Well im back in WA but Im without my Enfield. I'll do my best to see if I can secure one by this time. If not, I'll ride in on the current steed (newer, but not nearly as much soul as the bullet had), take some pics, meet and greet, ogle the bikes, and be reminded of where I started on 2 wheels.
Sharks are winners because they don't look back. Becuase they don't have necks. Necks are for sheep.

I am game for memorial day.  So I was on the coast this past weekend and passed a guy on. RE. I nodded and smiled. Anyone claiming to be him? Outside of Bremerton before Gig Harbor. Nice bike. Of course.   ;D

That was probably me... ;D I did a run down to Cycle Gear in Tacoma by the mall..then went back up through Gig Harbor. Seen 2 Triumphs? in Gig Harbor..Very nice..done up cafe style.  If ever in the West Bremerton area let me know and meet up for a ride.. 8).

Heh, I'm live on top of the hill overlooking the saloon to the north and also the Ducati/RE dealer to the south and east.

Where is this dealer you speak of?

Where is this dealer you speak of?

That would be Seattle's only Royal Enfield dealer - Ducati/RE Seattle.  They are located near the south tip of Lake Union, almost in the shadow of the Space Needle.

They have sold, like, 3 Enfields, since late August.  The owner wants to get more aggressive in getting out the word.  They already sell a LOT of Ducatis.
A Royal Enfield owner's cup is always half full.

Hello All,

Just my 2 cents on our get together.  I would prefer to stay away Memorial Day W/E as people (like me) may have other commitments.

How would the 2nd Saturday sound to everybody.  That would be the 14th of May???

I plan to be there with my Military... and I am planning on running my Silver Bullet on the Salt this year!!!

Mitch

If you have a red mowhawk on your helmet it must have been you.  I kind of thought I knew what kind of bike it was....then got close enough and I was deadly sure.   :)

jtnewby,

Congratulations on your new bike.  I think you'll like it.  Hope you can come to Nickerson Street Saloon and Grill  this year to meet some of the other local Royal Enfield people.  Royal Enfield people are good people and they would love to meet you and your new ride.  A good time is guaranteed for all. www.nickersonstreetsaloon.net

Cheers,
Bill Harris

Great to see everyone here. Yes, I've been of the grid awhile. Having to take care of parents and health stuff. If get together is during Memorial weekend Nigel and I should be good to go. Can't do it earlier as to having other engagements.

I didn't know that Seatte/Ducate was into RE's. NICE!!!!!

Was there Sat. think it reached almost 70 deg.  in Seattle... ;D  They had the new Military and another '11 model with one in for service. AND they were having free food just like someone mentioned earlier...yumm... 8)  Very nice people..hard too get to because of road work...also found Nickerson St. very nice place.  ;D
