I had been looking at these at Nfieldgear.com and bought a set to try on the C5. Fit and finish was basically outstanding. Went on easy and look great.
First photo shows the parts. Only parts not included in the package were pins for the hinge point. I bought a couple of 5/8" clevis pins for a dollar at a local hardware store and was all set. Photos 2 and 3 show it open and folded in.

Nice job, good to know they fit the C5. BTW, if the rubber bits wear out or you just want to change things up check out Kuryakyn. They make the footpegs and replacement parts. Andy any of these pegs can also be mounted up without much trouble. Lots of Harley shops carry these if you want a look.

Very cool, i have them on my 07 iron lung. I had them as takeoffs from an old cruiser i used to have. I also had the mounts from the old bike too. I modified the mounts a bit with some grinding so they would allow the mount to line up with the bolt hole in the bracket from the bike. Mounted them up and they look and work great. They dont pivot but its ok.

Thanks. I did look at HD stores and Kuryakyn catalogs but the missing piece was always the RE specific mount. The CMW kit came with a mount that is basically a shortened stock RE mount with a nicely engineered "U" into which the Kuryakyn peg fits perfectly.
I had also picked up a 1.5" peg extension kit not knowing how much tinkering this would require, but there was no need for that......I am sure I will find some other project for the extension tubes!

that is something i will get as i have hit the pegs several times riding ad really like the folding peg better.

I'd love a set of these. The rigid mounted foot pegs are not the Enfields finest feature. Do you know if they fit a B5?

They probably do. Most parts like these are pretty much the same across all RE models.

Update: finally got over winter in tropical Minnesota and went out for a brief spin. I had almost no vibrations with the stock footpegs, but the new one led to a dramatic increase in foot numbing vibrations. I am pretty sure that the looseness in the hinged part of these footpegs is what is making the vibrations worse. These have been taken off for now......they sure looked nice......

May I know, how do the new foot pegs
lineup with the gear shifter and brake lever.
I mean are these a bit lower (it seems from the picture)
or exactly in teh same position as the OEM.
If lower, will this affect ground clearance on turns/banks ??

The mounting position and location relative to shifter and brake is identical to the stock feetpegs. It would have been perfect if it wasn't for the increased vibration. It might be worthwhile to lock down the folding part to see if it reduces the vibration..... Maybe JB weld in the hinge, but then all you gain is an expensive nice looking footpeg.

I was in the market for folding pegs, had some reservations and was looking for a clear image of them.
The pictures clarify it all. Thanks for putting them up.
I had hoped they'd fold upwards. That would've been better.
Could perhaps even avoid those vibrations?
