I got yelled at for wasting $ on something that isn’t a performance increase.
Gee, quieter, smoother, less maintenance-not an improvement?
I pointed out that the majority of mods shown on that list are stupid loud exhausts and removing the rear fender.
Not really my idea of ‘performance improvement’.
I saw some studies that showed that a new, clean, perfectly lubed and adjusted chain is more efficient than a belt.
Yeah, and how about 5,000 miles later?
Last year, when NJ Mike and I did a multi day trip, I was flopping around cleaning and lubing my chain in a parking lot, and he was smiling and waving at his belt.
