Title: Restoring mom's 68 interceptor TT... dare I even ask about parts?
Post by: zbone on March 15, 2009, 09:15:01 pm
  Hello all,

I recently convinced my mom to send me the enfield that has been sitting in her living room (yes, living room) for the last 20 years...  she was diagnosed with cancer a while back and mentioned how she would like to ride it again, so I volunteered to try to get it running for her.

so now the bike is over at Cyco Cycle here in jacksonville, and its in pretty decent shape;  with the exeption of a few things.  so I ask you wise folk on here what the best resources are for finding parts;  at this point I need:

  Primary chain

  clutch plates

main oil drain plug (the brass one with the attached basket)

  and a gasket set.

any help you guys could give me would be GREATLY appreciated!!  thanks,

  Zack

Brother Zack, I wish you a speedy restoring process for the Interceptor and, moreover, an equally fast and complete recovery to your Mom, who has to be quite a neat Lady, so that she can again enjoy her bike!   :)
