Thanks guys for your comments. I would have thought that a longer lever was available, the ones on Ebay show them but don't give the length so you can compare with what you have.
I will scour Hitchcocks, they are bound to have an alternative...........failing that I'll weld a long handle up to the tank as my shift like the old days  ;D ;D

Just had a long chat with Hitchcocks Parts, and like mine centre to centre on the lever is 14cm. The advice was to move it up one thread on the spline which should cater for over 10UK size boots FYI. I will try that first. They did say that there may be another Indian model that has the same spline configuration but they have not had this query before, so those bigfoot motorcyclists must be riding cackhanded footwise or a thinner Beatle boot toe ;D

I’m sure if you look there is one just make sure to get exact same size splines and shaft if there is any movement it will knacker it, one possibility is getting two pedals cutting them and making a longer one by welding but not ideal cosmetically but there are a number of options you can get round it.

Carl,
Someone might pop out of the woodwork to say this is the one we need etc etc.
I'll move it round on the spline rather than order something from India on an image......no returns either, and 28 days + on route if ordered.....don't think so!! ;)

I wear a size 12 boot and I moved the gear selector up by one spline and it worked for me. Hopefully it fixes your issue as well.

For those that might want to try the lifting of the lever to the next spline to get your foot in more comfortably, just bear in mind you need to extract the bolt completely, as there is a flange on the 2018-2022 bikes on the bolts from India to stop the bolt falling out if it becomes loose or the nut comes off.
The lever will not come off until the bolt is out fully. Sorry to sound thick but apparently it is a recent addition in the kast 5 years.
Nice manufacturing touch, and thankfully realised quickly, before I brought the big hammers out ha ha!!.

Made a massive difference to the foot location and strongly advised for comfort. Thanks for all your help guys really appreciate it!

Two photos of my shifting the pedal up 3 slots to provide better comfort for my boot facing forward resting on the footrest.

If that's 3 splines up from where it was, no wonder you were having a problem.
It must have been very low.
Standard position seems to be with the gear change lever level with the footrest.
Good you've found a better position. 👍
Off route, recalculate?

Looks OK now covers the lever protector on boot l doubt you would get it better than that.

Sorry guys,
Afterall that messing about I just can't get used to the manufactured gear lever with size 11 feet and the leather boots.

I have ordered the toe/heel kick lever from Hitchcocks, in favour of the slow boat from India so see how I get on.

Having moved the original lever round a few clicks it made the trip to 2nd a reel foot puller and a distance, and so very uncomfortable.

I'll get there but thought I would share it with you.......yeeha!!
