Title: C5 pillion pictures
Post by: Ducati Scotty on September 26, 2010, 09:32:13 am
So here are just a couple of pics of the pillion top and bottom.  It mounts to the rear shock towers and to a small boss under the front seat with a single long bolt.  Mine goes on and off easily in a few minutes.  Another member reported that his is a little narrow at the shock towers and takes some persuasion to install.

Now that I have to solo seat on my G5, I need to cover the rear section with a rack or  pillion. Pillion looks sweet.

Yea Scotty thanks. That frame would make a great foundation for a cafe racer seat !! With that looped tail section. It also would put the seat in a nice relationship to the tank.
Ummmmmmmm ???,  How sturdy is that sucker?

I'm 230# and when I sit on it it doesn't move.  It's more than sturdy.
