Have you discovered what the actual redline is for this engine - ie. when you hit the rev limiter?

No I never red line any engine, 6200 is about the highest I have seen.

Hi, Surprised as these are not my experiences. No secondary vibrations and not snatchy nor jerky. Interesting to see if others have experienced this. Personally, I would not like to lose the benefits that you identify by removing the upgrade, to the extent that I would purchase a new filter if concerned with re-oiling. Interesting to see if I experience any deterioration as the mileage  increases - done about 1300 miles so far.Rode about 100 miles through the Lake District National Park yesterday - just about perfect!

I might try putting the DNA filter and airbox cover in again, but not until I can get the Fuel X Pro from Hitchcock's or reflash the ECU. I think if either one of those things were done, then the bike would run better with the DNA filter.

Hi

Removed the DNA filter and cover today and returned it to standard.

Pros:
Better response on closing the throttle, it is much smoother, also change down smoother.

Cons:
More hesitant in lower gears and does not pull as well in 5th.  Needs more revs to pull.  It is only a slight difference but noticeable.  More mirror vibration when trying to pull at slower speeds, so definitely needs more revs.

Conclusion:
I will be changing back to DNA with either standard filter or DNA and DNA cover.

I tried the DNA filter, the complete DNA kit, the Racing exhaust, the decat, the direct exhaust and I came back to the original model.
Everything is perfectly balanced from stock.

I think we have to gain weight, it's the only way to improve!
