Does anyone know where to purchase a locking gas cap for the Meteor?
With the price of gas, it doesn't have to be beautiful, just functional.

Well l was looking at few on eBay a couple of nights ago quite cheap in fact they had one for the 350 bullet but as if it will fit l know not, l guess that petrol theft that was epidemic in past decades might well rear its ugly head again.

The gas cap locks originally on mine. Is it only the European models?

Need the key to open mine too. That's seems odd that RE would change that for a different market.

That’s odd all the Meteors on my dealers show room floor has a locking gas cap. I do how ever hate the cheap feel and look of the plastic Meteor gas cap.

I haven’t put eyes on the new beautiful Classic 350, but from what I’ve gathered has a metal locking gas cap. Does anyone know when we will see the new Classic 350 here in North America?

Hi Folks,
The cap on the Classic 350 is indeed more robust! It does not hinge up like the Meteor's
My Meteor cap locked & so does the Classic's.

I've only filled my Classic up once but I preferred the Meteor's fuel filler.
With the Classic's I found it hard to tell how much you're putting without overfilling (re: Manual's instructions saying try not to fill right up as fuel can get into the emissions gubbins!).

Not a big gripe!!!!
