BTW, wasn't Triumph talking a few years ago about producing a 250cc-class motorcycle to be sold in the Indian market in an attempt to get a piece of that action? I wonder what happened to that plan? They could have called it the Tiger Cub.  ;)

I seem to remember hearing something about a baby Triumph...

Triumph are developing a smaller bike, through an Indian motorcycle company, probably about 250-300cc. This is a renewed project as it was ditched for a few years and recommenced a couple of years ago.
