Ladakh Tour on Diesel Bullet

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilqRq8twHXs
In June 2019, we did Leh -Ladakh Bike Trip on Diesel Bullet Taurus. It was an adventurous bike ride and great travelling experience. We had three bike, Royal Enfield Electra , Diesel Bullet Taurus, Royal Enfield Diesel Bullet. None of the bike is diesel bullet modified. They are in their genuine shape and diesel bullet engine is of company provided. We started our bike trip to Ladakh from Delhi and then via Sri Nagar, Kashmir, covering Zozila, Kargil, Batalik to Leh city. Best time to travel on road for Leh Ladakh is usually June and roads are open up to September. Our Diesel Bike top speed was 85-90KMH/Litre and we also had diesel bullet vs petrol bullet race. Bullet Diesel ofcourse lag behind petrol bullet.   If someone wants to know anything, please comment.

I can't stop watching episodes of this:

It's becoming a problem, I'm not getting any work done  ;D.

I wish I had a video of when I pulled the son in law's T5 from his Commodore ute to change the clutch. It's the first time I ever had a clutch pour out on my head as the gearbox slid back  ;D ;D

Quite a piece of engineering for the middle ages, I have always been fascinated by them. Full scale trebuchets we're used to pulverize castle walls making them no longer impregnable compared to earlier centuries. Framed in oak timbers the one in the video has to have a substantial amount of weight to it, I'd like to some see video of them moving it around.

This guy does a lot of engineering math before building this little trebuchet that can toss bullet sized projectiles at supersonic speeds ...

Thanks for that! It was very interesting hearing that bearing crack out there like a rifle shot.

Where this might really come into its own is off planet, zero g, hard vacuum. Reaction mass becomes whatever you find that fits the sling. As long as you can wind up the spring, you can maneuver.

I'm a history buff and have been watching this series. While I feel as though I'm up on European history I only had a surface knowledge of the Napoleonic Wars, The depth of the carnage I found shocking, I did not realize how long it went on and the number of countries involved, some switching alliances along the way. While this series focuses on the battles there is some back story too, it has also sent me digging more into the overall history of Napoleon and some of the surprising social changes he instituted. Worth watching if you are into this sort of thing.
