The local media is calling the "protesters" "extremists" and appear to be praying for violence so that they can fill up the evening news and give the talk shows something to discuss.  Personally, I think the protest is going to be more of a dud than anything exciting, no matter how the media wants to spin the event.

Smaller rallies set to take place around the country
Look Ahead America, the pro-Trump organization behind the plans for Saturday’s rally at the Capitol, says on their website that they will host simultaneous rallies at the sites of the federal courthouse in Charlotte, North Carolina, and outside of a Department of Justice building in Seattle.
Nearly a dozen more events are set to be held next Saturday, the 25 of September, in other state capitals including Phoenix, Richmond, and Austin.

The "JJ6 Rally" is over, uneventfully. Only about 450 (largely geriatric) attendees out of the 700 possible.

The event didn't have much going for it.

When Matt Braynard announced this event, a month and a half ago, he said there would be prominent speakers present, including members of congress.  There weren't, the most prominent speakers were a couple of pro-Trump candidates, and family members and friends of various people charged in the storming of the Capitol.

Without Trump to inspire a call to action, it's got to be quite a challenge to drum up support for the "patriot tourists" of last January 6.  It seems that a lot of the folks who might be inclined to show up, are still convinced that those people assaulting the Capitol were left wing BLM and/or Antifa activists.

At the end the reporter asked if the "long range acoustic device (LRAD; crowd dispersal)" was being deployed also, that question was not responded to. The games begin at 12:00 Eastern. Watched. I see a different reality though. We work in jobs we hate and no one needs, we take shit that's mandated up on us to be able to keep our miserable jobs so we can buy the shit we need. An article in my newspaper today says that Biden will be shipping the Hattians back to where they came from, in the hopes of not giving any more of their countrymen future immigrating ideas.
