Title: How do you stuff the inner tube into the tool box?
Post by: emskee on October 20, 2009, 04:55:39 pm
People,

So I get a flat on the freeway at 60 mph due to a washer dropped into the tire at the factory that eventually ate through my rear inner tube.

RE did give me a new tube.  Without comment.

I did not make note on how the original tube was  crammed into the tool box when I did the repair.

Anyone want to to be kind enough to share a photo or something showing how the spare-washer-hiding factory folds and stores the tube into the tool compartment?

I spent like 10 minutes this morning trying all kinds of inner tube origami and artfull cramming, to no avail.

Thank you all,

Mike

There's no way I could possibly get an inner tube in my G5 toolbox. I struggle just getting the lid back on with the normal tools inside.
My inner tube came in a cardboard box with all the other spares.
Cheers
