Due to world wide chip shortage
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Himalayan no longer come with Tripper Navigation. The feature has been deleted from the standard package and will only be available as an optional accessory, effective May 1, 2022.

No doubt an optional accessory at an extra cost, with no reduction to the Meteor's MSRP, I bet.  ::)

The recently launched (yesterday) Hunter 350 continues the trend with the Tripper an option.

Your cell phone already does everything the tripper does, a simple speedo keeps you honest around speed traps. This is a smallish, low-end economy motorcycle, I'm not seeing the need for consumer electronics on a device that requires/should have your complete attention whilst operating. If the Hunter Retro comes in $500 under the Meteor, they'll fly off of the shelves.
A trifecta of Pre-Unit Bullets: a Red Deluxe 500, a Green Standard 500, and a Black ES 350.

I’m with you. I’ve never really seen the use of the tripper and I surety don’t need anything to takes my eyes off the road.

It's personal preference I suppose. I love the Tripper: no distracting maps and stuff, just directions and distances. The app could be better, but simply to go from A to B and you can't beat it. But that's just my preference. ;-)

They should offer an after-market digital tach in its place.

Or if not a tach, how about an amp meter.   ;)

I like my "TRIPPER" (Meteor) .    but wouldn't pay extra for it .

I've got a Motorcycle GPS that mounts on a 25mm ball ... it can go from bike to bike with the twist of one screw .   Those 25mm handlebar mount balls are cheap and easy !

Agree with this, 100%. I have a hard enough time not getting into an accident trying to follow Google maps when I'm on 4 wheels!  ;D
Keepin' the shiny side up - ride safe everyone 😊👍
