In many photos (pre-production?) you can see what looks like a grab handle mounted to the top shock bolt.  Any ideas what this is?  Is it regulation in India like saree guards?  Is it available as a generic accessory anywhere?

I believe that is an assist handle for putting the bike onto the centre stand. Not really necessary at all, as you can use the OEM grab rail already there for that purpose. The bike is so light it pops onto the stand pretty easily.
