Someone has been thinking! I'd like to see the rear hub, shock and swingarm linkage up close. The 5 spoke wheels look home made, and there is a crank mount electronic ignition in there too, as the distributor looks empty. He did a lot working with not much.

A trifecta of Pre-Unit Bullets: a Red Deluxe 500, a Green Standard 500, and a Black ES 350.

Indeed, and thanks for the tip. Even as a pampered First World "Girly Boy" I can still hazily recognize those "Real Man" skills in a challenging venue with minimal resources. (One of his other videos is him either patching a long extension cord and/or using part of it as an alternator lead, though the language barrier makes it rather hard to discern exactly what is transpiring). Even the video's editing strives to be a cut above the typical Wrenching-in-Sandals offerings. Under different circumstances I have little doubt that dude might one day be Chair of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Stanford or MIT.

And here's the obligatory link summing it all up: https://youtu.be/bwvlbJ0h35A
