Dear Enfielders,
I have 2 bikes;
1) a bullet 2008 350 standard Cast iron with gears on right side
And
2) a 2012 Bullet classic with 500 EFI engine

My question is can I fit the EFI 500 engine into my older bike??

I love the look of my older bike and but on the other hand I like the techy efi engine

Thanks in advance!

It might be possible, but it is not worth the effort. It would be a very big job. So many things would need to be changed and fabricated that it would be much easier and cheaper to use the EFI bike instead.

The frames are not the same, drive chain on opposite sides, wiring harness and electrical all different, new motor mounts to be fabricated, etc etc.

Just buy a B5 EFI Bullet, if you can get one, and sell the Classic?

I asked that very same question a few weeks ago, and upon investigation I decided that it wasn't feasible. It's not difficult to make a newer Bullet look old with a few changes to the sheetmetal and chassis parts.
