It was awesome to meet up with the Bulleteers again!
Met some new people and looking forward to next year.
Maybe some will come up with a mid summer location, hate to wait a whole another year..

Fun to see folks and their bikes today. As always, I got some good RE maintenance tips as a bonus! Thanks for posting the pictures, Josh and Sara(h). A summer meet-up sounds fun. Maybe at Smarty Pants for brunch like we did a few years ago?

Still making my way home, getting something to eat in Astoria.  Thanks for leading a great ride Bill.  Thanks for the beer Josh and I hope your back is not too bad.  Sorry I had to peel off from you guys on the freeway, fuel was getting low.

It was fun and great to see everyone again. Damon's bike was just gorgeous!

I had a great time! As always so much fun to hang out with fellow Enfield owners.  Think today was the longest ride I've done with the rebuilt motor. It ran great and didn't miss a beat.
Thank you for all the kind words on my Bike, I think I might need another hobby as I spend way to much time cleaning my bike :)

How is that?  Isn't your butt made of iron?  ;)

Sounds like an awesome time as always!  ONE of these years I'll make it up there to meet everyone.  :)

Oh no you don't.
What you need is a Newby Belt Drive Primary and Dry Clutch, and an Ace Super Fireball Roller Rocker Head and TM34 carb!
Let's get those valves open! With your Hitchcock cams .380" intake lobe lift, the ratio on the roller rockers will give you .550" lift at the valve.  You would be seeing probably 60 cfm flow increase at max flow. You'd need the Newby clutch to hold that power. You wouldn't believe the torque it would have.

Of course, that's if you get tired of cleaning, and want to just blow the dust off as you ride!

And yes, I'll add +1 to the comments that your bike looks great!

Ace,

That sounds like such an awesome plan, it is gonna be a while before I can think about it though. My budget has been cutoff by the Boss..... She says I've already spent way, way too much on it already :)

Woke up this morning from a very long sleep and a vivid dream that I had just put a down payment on a very expensive bike.  I immediately thought, "Uh-oh, she's never gonna let this one slide."  Then I realized it was a dream and was very relieved.

Oh, well!

I just figured that big ol' 612 would like to gulp some more air.
But we have to know our limitations!

Hardly.  Feels more like soft French cheese today.  I was thinking before this ride that the stock seat wasn't so bad.  Now I'll be getting back to making a custom one.

Had a great ride up to the Nick with Ducati Scotty and Stealth Bomber on Saturday.  It's always a good time at the Nick with old and new Royal Enfield friends talking motorcycles over a tall one.  It just don't get much better than that.

Royal Enfield people are good people

Cheers,
Bill
