Yeah, that's what I'll do then: I5N to Vince's and roll with you guys to the ferry ride and the Nick.  I'll do a more scenic route on the way back but this way I can sleep a little more, at least as much as my 2 year old will let me ;)

I'll probably leave around 2 or 3 just so I don't get home too too late.  This is gonna be fun!

I've got a friend in Washington who may join us for some part of the day.  He rides a giant sport bike but don't hold that against him ;)

A Bullet sighting.

It belongs to gamma195. I added his handle to our roster on page 41 and he will be riding up with us from Oly   :D

Hola chicos,

With 44 pages, I didn't read the hole thread but wanted to pipe up anyway. I'm currently in Peru and have ridden here from Seattle, 60,000+km on my KLR650 but the trip's coming to an end and I'm flying home next week.
When I get back to Seattle, I'm gonna start shopping for an Enfield so I hope to be joining the WA bullet riders soon.
Anyone in Seattle willing to meet and give me advice the bikes? I'm really excited to get one but would love to know it's idiosyncrasies and what to look for when shopping for one.
...also if you know anyone selling a good one, let me know. I know we're not supposed to do any sale stuff on this forum so my direct email is dunters@gmail.com

cheers,

Darn! Wish Nigel and I could be there but it is the BACA (bikers against child abuse) 100 mile ride (which is really the 250 mile ride) for us members, and I have to be there. But I wanna see pics of all. So don't forget the camera! Have a brew for me and a burger for Nigel.

Hey Gamma, is your pal who rides the vintage Moto Guzzi coming along ?

I posted a flier at Vince's and God bless him he is opening early to put on a pot of Coffee for us. I will bring the bagels.

Kick stands up at ten minutes to eight, US Rt. 101 through Shelton and Grapeview to Bremerton and catch the 9:45 ferry across the sound. fare is $7.25 and passage is about an hour and that puts us in the parking lot of the nick just a couple minutes after eleven to pick our parking spots. ;D

Link to the WA.DOT Ferry schedule web page
 http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Ferries/Schedule/ScheduleDetail.aspx?tripdate=20120519&departingterm=4&arrivingterm=7&roundtrip=true

Arrive at the nick about 11:00

I'm in the Kent area. I bought my first and only bike in Nov 2011. Its a 2007 "iron barrel" Military.  I'm new to riding and my RE is the first bike I've ridden. I can't stop riding now. I just wish we had more nice days here in the PNW. I've been wanting to ride with other riders but I don't know any since I just started on my own. I'm really looking forward to our real summer here so I can get out on the road. I'm finishing up the 500 mile service now. Haven't had any issues yet...

Thanks for the welcome. I am definitely interested in Backfire night.  I like low key and random. I'm in the process of buying a leather jacket now. I've been riding with a regular rain jacket around lately.  I've been thinking I do like my elbows and my skin where it is so time to upgrade. I don't ride too far, just stay around the Kent, Renton, Maple Valley area.  Riding with a bunch of other riders who's bikes only go the speed limit would be nicer than driving to the middle of nowhere by myself. Looking forward to our interactions.
