Well produced? Yes. But way over produced for my taste & not my kind of ad. These folks are from some kind of invented alternate universe from mine - motorcycle-wise. The pretend Archer wasn't even at full draw when he released that arrow.

Nice ad? Sure & I congratulate RE for now not being able to build these bikes fast enough. Light years of improvement since my '08 AVL was built.

A bizarre fantasy to appeal to "Hipsters" I guess?

Funny when the end slogan is "Stay true"!   ::)

Hipsters - maybe. But Indian hipsters I think. Remember, outside of India is a comparativly small market for these bikes.

The Indian gent in the ad is from an Indian royal family. That would be instantly recognised across the subcontinent.

I think the message is aimed at generating nostalgia in the South Asian market, where Royal Enfield is a hugely aspirational brand.

But then I do have a beard and leather wrapped handgrips, so I may fall into the hipster category too 😆

Yes, I imagine the advertising people know what they're doing and what appeals to potential new customers.
I'm definitely not their target market!

Well this hits the spot with me. I love that my my modern G2 Bullet'alike exists because India took the originals to their hearts.

Edit to add: for the avoidance of doubt, I love it :-)

That's right! Buy our drugs now, and like the people in the promotional video, butlers can push your bikes to safety while you doze off, never to suffer the hassle of being alive again!

Operators are standing by, call now!

Beautiful photography but a bizarre message. ???

Are the Indian people aspiring to the English upper class and heritage? That's all wrong now especially our youngsters hate it or have been told to hate it and I believe a lot of the rest of the world hate it too.

I am neither young or from "a lot of the rest of the world". Or an advertising expert come to that. ;)

I'm not sure I 100% understand it, but think it's great anyway. That's quite normal for me.

As an Indian who was born and grew up in India for 30 years and owned a marketing agency for five of those, I guess I can add my two cents here.

This ad is all sorts of wrong in every way possible. And quite clearly this isn't going to work. The RE ads that have worked for them have been the 'break free from the world' type videos appealing to the Indian make in their 20s or 30s.

With the history of 200 years of British colonisation, I never came across a single individual who aspired to be like the English upper class at all.

The ad, sadly, is trying to mix the English upper class with the Indian monarchy and princely states - both of whom were oppressors of the people - and the way it goes, a small minority always aspired to be like the bullies.

So the ad will appeal to the small number of bullies who exist in every society.

But most of the RE riders in India are normal young men who cannot relate to anything, anything at all, that the ad showed. The bungalow or whatever that was, the gargoyle, the old jeep, the archery, nothing. If anything, this is perhaps aimed at the overseas markets to romanticise some British-Indian upper class connection between the British colonisers and the complicit pricely states - to paint a picture that never really existed.

Apologies, but I will go and vomit now after watching this ad. Might sell my Meteor 350 too while I am at it 😅

+1 on all your comments, but neither The Company nor the ad agency will really care if you sell your bike any more than the drug companies here in the U.S. care that I, at 86, have not taken any prescription or OTC drugs since the early '80s.

I don't know about all this analysis. I think maybe people are making the mistake of taking it too seriously. A motorcycle in the middle of a drawing room!

On a separate note - I really like some of the new colour schemes.
