Sorry if this has been covered before but i need a new chain for REnfield. I believe it is a 530 x 95 link. Hitchcocks has a reynolds and a european made replacement which seems pretty good. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know,my bike is an 03' ES with the standard gearing.

I need the same on my AVL Classic. For the price thought I would order a name brand. Not interested in a O or X chain.
I plan on cutting off 5 links with a whiz wheel grinder and driving out a pin with a punch.

I just ordered a 100 link Tsubaki 530 Omega O-Ring Chain and a spare link for my '07 Iron Barrel. I'll have to cut 5 off for 95.
Amazon had the lowest price plus $0 shipping.

Thank's for the replies. I was really hoping to find the correct length, plus or minus maybe one link so i can avoid cutting. I think a lot of mid seventies Honda,s and Yams used a 530 x 96.

I don't think I've ever replaced a chain that didn't need to have a few links removed. Maybe if you ordered 1 from the dealer it would have the right number of links, but we all know how great those are.

I have always heard that the o-ring chains will not work. Report back if your chain works without interference.

If you cut 5 links off a 100 link I thinkyou'll have a 94 link. You'll need a half link to come up with 95. ERC

A number of people on this forum report using the Tsubaki Omega on Iron Barrels without a problem. It should arrive tomorrow. I'll post back to this thread when I get a chance to try it.

ERC, you are correct. I cut off 4 links.
The Tsubaki Omega worked for me, but it is close. It may not work for everyone.
The width has enough clearance for a dry cleaner's shirt cardboard to slide between the chain and casings if you use a rivet head master link. I tried the clip style master link that comes with the chain and it dragged on the cases. It ran through to feed the new chain in, but dragged whether pointing in or out. I had ordered a rivet head link just in case and when crushed/peened down to the same width as the rest of the chain links it clears. Riding seems fine.

It is close, but it doesn't touch, so good to go. I don't recommend it without a good chain rivet tool that can make the heads flat. I actually used a Mercedes timing chain tool.
