I have been wanting to do this for some time. I finally had the extra cash to purchase one.  After install the sound was very impressive . It made my goldstar silencer sound much deeper and s bit louder. You can really hear the difference.   I took it for a quick 20 mile spin. The bike was slightly peppier and responsive.  If you have the chance and money it's well worth the cost. You can tell the bike breaths even better.

Oh yeah hitchcocks service is impressive. I ordered parts on the 19th and they arrived today 21st.   That's incredible! England to US in a couple of days.

I have the curved stainless steel version on one of my bikes. Connected to a Motad stainless steel can with a removable baffle.  No longer available which is a shame as its a well made can.
Off route, recalculate?

You can feel the weight difference.  All be it slight.  The sound is so nice.  I do think it feels a bit stronger. It's not overtly  noticable. You can feel that the bikes characteristics have changed somewhat.  Very satisfied with this modification.   Next I am going to put the 19t sprocket on.  Roads have changed around my house so I am driving 55 to 60 regularly.

I wish I would have done this right from the beginning.   Really enjoy the sound and added response.

You can really feel the bike is breathing better and seems to have stronger pull

One odd thing is my speedo seems to be dead on now.

For years I have been driving daily past two radar signs.  My speedo has constantly 3 to 4 miles fast.

Now I have gone by them twice and the bike is travelling at speed shown on bikes speedo.

I haven't done anything else to the bike. One day speedo showing 50 and radar showing 46 to 47.  Now it's dead on.  Go figure

Over the last year I have been looking at the interceptor.  I lust after the extra power .

Now that I have installed these headers the bikes characteristics has changed so much it's like a new bike.  It runs so well with these.

I am seriously rethinking the interceptor.   Yea the extra power would be nice but for right now I am seriously enjoying these pipes.

55 to 60 miles an hour is just a smooth ride. Its response off the line is peppier.

That deep rumble is so gratifying.

Still Max too speed is 70mph .

I am going to install a 19t sprocket to allow engine to run  a bit more relaxed at too speed.

This is the way this bike should have come from RE. Yes I know they had to restrict the bike for emissions butane what a difference.

Pure joy to ride.  It does everything I ask it to do except the extra speed.

I am even more enamored with this bike.

I am sure putting these pipe on the interceptor would be even more fun.

I've gone down that path twice now, adding a 650 Interceptor because I was lusting the extra power. It quickly faded away, twice. I am happy with my recently acquired gunmetal grey Classic 500 and Classic 350 ReBorn. If one of those has to leave, and that is a realistic proposition, then I would most likely be the 350. I'm keeping my eye out for the coming Classic 650, which could be the ONE.

I can vouch for the stainless steel header from hitchcocks. It's definately changed the performance and overall smoothness of my bike. Onky yujnk I don't like is the blueing!

I have the same SS Header from Hitchcocks along with their "long inlet" SS silencer. I love the look at the silencer but it's a bit too loud. I tried it with the DB Killer insert but it has a rather annoying sound quality so I removed it.  I don't know if there are other DB Killer inserts that fit this silencer or not.

I'd be quite interested in seeing/knowing about your Goldstar silencer. I'd like to find some thing with less bark to it, more of a deep "thump" type sound. I may play around with making my own DB Killer but scouting for options.

Just as soon as I get it running again I will let you know.  I am always wearing a helmet so I havent paid attention.

Right now I am waiting on a new stator with crank position sensor.
