I posted the 80's pages. I've attached them for comparison. Maybe I don't have the same one as you...

I was not aware of two different downloads from the Russian site, because yours is very different, pages wise, from the one I downloaded and I posted a link to it earlier in this thread. Mine is active, in that I can select chapters or topics within a chapter and go straight to them. Does yours do that?  What's going on here??? :o

Where did you find your download?

OK, I just tried to do a second download from the site I linked earlier in this thread, but it now says "blocked plug-in".

Can you post a link to the URL you used. Still don't understand how the same manual would have changed so much. Unless it is an updated 2022 version??

Link for manual:

Don't worry about the language. You will see a PDF logo with a down arrow above it. Just click on the arrow.

The Copyright on mine is 2020

I just went to the link and downloaded again to see if it had been updated. It seems to be the same one I already have.

This is how my first page looks. Note 1127 pages at the top.

That link is the same as the one I already tried and neither will go to the manual download now. Very strange. How can there be two versions so different from the same link? My manual is 2020 also. However, I just won't put any page numbers in your torque list, to avoid confusion.

Example: Here's my page 5.

Example: Here's my page 5.

Here is my page 5. Three different views. One is without the side panel, and the other two are with. One illustrates pages and the other is a bookmark system which I typically use.

Well, there you go! The relative computer numpty that I am did not realize there was a sidebar contained in the manual, which I just now found how to open after looking at your pictures Frank!

Now that I have opened that sidebar, for the first time, all the page numbers have changed to reflect the same numbers (85-87), which you showed in a previous post. I certainly don't understand how THAT works!

Seems we ARE on the same page now!!  ;) :D

Glad we got it figured out. The bookmarks make it a little easier to navigate, and don't feel bad, I did not notice it at first either!  :)

Just bringing this to the top of the pages again, in case anyone else wants to lend a hand at completing it. Then we can get Bilgey to make it a sticky.

Well, lets give it a go. Here is a link we can all share to enter torque specifications. When you enter the specifications in N-m it will automatically calculate the rest for you (for those needing it)  :)

Just a reminder, "we can all share".......

Bringing this thread to the top also, so that the now completed torque values chart set up by Frank in his post (number 7) can also be placed as a sticky at the top of the 350 forum.

Thanks again to Frank.

Thanks to Bilgey for his help too!

Hi all. Owner of a recently purchased Meteor 350 here.

I got the RE "Backrest Kit" yesterday (I had my dealer throw it in, on the purchase, but he was out of stock until this week). In the instructions, it states that the torque for the passenger grab-rail bolts is 25 N⋅m (c. 18.4 lb.ft., 221 lb.in.).

I'd add this info to the Master Sheet, but I seem to be viewing that in read-only mode. So I offer this info to anyone who is able and willing to do the update.

I have scanned the instructions (two-page, 2MB, PDF), if anyone needs to verify this.
Cheers,

Bill P.

Thank you. In truth, this has been one of the most confusing web topic I have ever seen. Between the two of you going on and on, I have ZERO idea of where is what I was looking for. One would think clicking the headline "TORQUE VALUES" in this forum would take me somewhere. Not so. Yes, I did get an eventual chart but its numbers are so off, it is unreliable. But thanks for the efforts.
