I stumbled across some USA specific sales figures in this Milwaukee Business Journal article from last July.  In the past, I've found it difficult to find this specific information, generally all export sales are lumped together, so this tidbit was quite interesting to me.       https://www.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/news/2021/07/27/royal-enfield-north-america-sales-grow-meteor-350.html

The article states:
Royal Enfield North America sold 3,820 motorcycles in the fiscal year ended in March 2021, up 15% from 3,322 units sold the year before. In fiscal 2019, Royal Enfield North America sold 1,731 motorcycles.

Here are some sales totals that I've found published for these years:  ( RE Fiscal years go from spring to spring, for example March 2018 to March 2019)
Total Sales         Total Exports                         Total US Sales
     2019            822,724          20,825  ( 2.5% of total)           1,731    ( 8.3% of exports,  0.2% of total)
     2020            656,651          39,188  ( 6.0% of total)           3,322    ( 8.4% of exports,  0.5% of total)
     2021            600,888      ~28,500 (est.)   (4.7% of total)    3,820    ( 13.4% of export,  0.6% of total)

In the article, RE's Sid Lal calls the Meteor 350 a "highway cruiser" that "contributed to 50% growth in its volume of exports from India in the second half of the 2020-2021 year."   Clearly some of these were sold in USA, but I'm skeptical that this model was a big seller here, and I think one would be hard pressed to find many riders who consider it suitable for the highway.   I can find break ups of total exports by model, but not specifically for the US market.  I'll bet RENA is selling mainly 650s and Himalayans.

Elsewhere, I find it stated that "Royal Enfield is the most global acting Indian manufacturer and the only one active both in North America and Europe".  https://www.motorcyclesdata.com/2022/01/03/royal-enfield/    They are also selling in South America, Australia, and elsewhere, yet, the India market is, by far, their biggest customer.   USA sales represent about half of 1% of total.  We may be lucky to have access to these machines at all.

I think they will only export to countries where there is a well defined market, but in saying that the meteor and the new 350 classic seems to be selling well in UK, l was at the dealers Saturday and the showrooms were stacked out with them the salesman told me they were selling well, so they seem to be a hit here.

The USA drivers licensing system is very casual. I suspect that at least one of the reason that 350 Meteors are selling well elsewhere is because the total level of driver idiocy is lower and the streets are therefore more survivable for "slow" vehicles. Judging from Bullet Whisperers videos, I'm not seeing the normal, common general stupidity of having cars try to pass you on blind curves or routinely pulling out or pulling over into you. There appears to be less "Combat Driving" at least in the UK. When I was in England on vacation, even in the city I saw a much higher level of thought being applied to driving. I watched from the upper deck of a double decker bus for a week, being unwilling to transmogrify my 55 years of left hand seat controls, USA roads honed traffic reflexes into piloting a right hand controls, 5 speed rental car whilst in "opposite side of the road" British city traffic. I was constantly impressed by the general sense of reasonableness & fair play displayed. The 350 Meteor is a nice piece, just like the 650 Interceptor. But the 350 Meteor also isn't a particularly good choice for a "freeway" or "A Road" machine.
A trifecta of Pre-Unit Bullets: a Red Deluxe 500, a Green Standard 500, and a Black ES 350.

I was surprised to read in 2021 RE was only the 7th best selling motorcycle manufacturer in India with the Hero motor  group the number one seller of motorcycles. It's worth noting Hero and others don't sell bikes in Europe and USA.In 2020 Honda and Yamaha sold more bikes than the Himalayan in India.

Indian Brands like Hero, Bajaj among others in India have their hands full trying to keep up with the demand in India. In 2021 the total number of motorbikes and scooter sold in India was somewhere around 15 million.

Milwaukee Business Journal (Milwaukee is home to Royal Enfield North America), has once again reported USA unit sales figures for 2023, and the news is very good for RENA.

The article states:
For the second year in a row, an India-based motorcycle company with North American headquarters in Milwaukee nearly doubled its unit sales in the U.S. and Canada.

Royal Enfield North America sold 13,827 motorcycles in the fiscal year ended in March, according to the annual report released last week from New Delhi, India-based parent company Eicher Motors Ltd. That's nearly twice the 7,305 motorcycles sold in fiscal 2022.

I'll tack these new numbers onto my stats for previous years:  ( RE Fiscal years go from spring to spring, for example March 2018 to March 2019)  I apologize for the estimated numbers for 2022, I wasn't paying attention for a while.

     2021      600,888          28,500 (est.)   (4.7% of total)    3,820   ( 13.4% of exports,  0.6% of total)
     2022      600,640 (est)   81,000 (est)  (13.5% of total)    7,305   ( 9% of exports,   1.2% of total)
     2023      834,895          100,055   ( 12% of total )           13,827  (13.8 % of exports, 1.6% of total)

The big new in my opinion are that with these much higher volumes, revenues are up proportionately.
I'll list the reported sales revenues for the last three years:

     2021      $19.1 million
     2022      $34.1 million
     2023      $63.8 million
