The climb up to Mount Barker Summit here in South Australia. A short, sharp climb complete with corrugations, but a great view from the top (which you have to 'climb' to see dammit).

A ride out the back end of the Adelaide Hills with a mate... who was riding a Himalayan as it happens.

Not so much an 'adventure' this one, just a road we here in Adelaide like to ride

Love that road. Short but sweet.
In a couple of weeks when my shoulder's not so broken, if I register my DR, want to go for a cruise to Tunk beach? Beautiful view of the coast and not a bad ride in.

And a ride out in the eastern foothills of the Adelaide Hills. Dirt roads this time.

Two videos.
The first shows what happens when your riding partner pulls over and says: I wonder where that fire trail goes?
Well, we found out didn't we, complete with a couple of attempts to drop it (one of which is flagged) and the sound of stones bouncing off the bash plate early on.

This second video shows the aftermath of a bushfire we had earlier this year. Not a lot of fun really, this country was all thick bush before the fire.

No dirt in this one... apart from the loose gravel in the middle of corners.
A ride along the Adelaide Hills face, one of the iconic rides in the Adelaide Hills.

The bend at 2.30 is where I binned my GT into the ditch the other week. I wasn't going slow and steady. I was being a peanut   :'(

I thought you did it over on Greenhill.
Anyway, you chose a good spot for it. Very easy to do through there (it just looks benign when you're slow)

Yeah. No mobile coverage, either so can't call an ambulance.

I see the abandoned commodore is still there

Not so bad. I'll have some tubeless ones for you to fit to Jas' track bike for me soon. Easy.

Yes, it's finally happened, I've done a walk around video of my Himalayan, the one you see in all my videos.
So, ladies and gents, my I present, 'Gimli's Axe'   8)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBL7lOAcXLU

The sharp eyed will note that I didn't blur out my rego plate. This was not through lack of trying. I finally managed the trick, but because the plate keeps changing size and angle, it wound up being too much for this tired old brain to master. So I gave up in disgust.
