I'm looking at doing a trip to the UK next year - I would love to hire (rent) an motorcycle for part of my visit - preferably a Royal Enfield. When I've done searches in continental Europe you can rent from sites like Riderly or MotoShare, which allows you to rent motorcycles from private individuals.

Do such models operate out of the UK? I don't mind renting from an agency, but yes, the cost is much higher and the selection is somewhat limited. I don't want a 1600cc BMW. I know what my bike is capable of and I think it would be a great match for puttering around Wales, etc.

Probably not what you are looking for, but I see Eaglerider has a location in (I guess Towcester?) that rents some models of RE.  https://www.eaglerider.com/locations

I'm just peripherally familiar with Eaglerider, but it appears that they allow private individuals as well as commercial entities to list bikes through their site.
