That's a way to spark enthusiasm! Maybe there will soon be an India Production-machine Manufacturers Race series. The other manufacturers can't be oblivious to this.

Every automotive enthusiast in India and across the globe knows that racing is a very expensive sport. The barrier to entry in this elusive sport is very big, and a lot of talent gets mixed into dust because of a lack of proper facilities and money. So, in an attempt to help the young, talented, and aspiring racers, the Chennai-based bikemaker Royal Enfield has introduced a new program. This program is called the Royal Enfield Track School, and its primary aim is to provide aspiring bike racers with proper training. The company announced that the sessions will commence on September 9 and 10, 2023.
This all-new program has been launched by the brand as part of its “Pure Sport” campaign. Under this Track School program, the company will provide training and make track racing more accessible to budding bike racers in the country. As mentioned, the first track sessions of this new program will take place on September 9 and 10, 2023, at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. Following this, the company will then host similar sessions in Karnataka – Bengaluru, Maharashtra – Kolhapur, and then in Gujarat – Ahmedabad.
Royal Enfield stated that the primary objective of this new Track School program is to nurture emerging racers in India. It added that the other goal for it is to potentially prepare them for participation in the Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup competitions that are held by the company regularly. In addition, the program also intends to enhance participants’ track racing abilities. It also aims to promote and emphasize the importance of safe motorcycle riding both on and off the race track.
The company has stated that the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 motorcycle, prepared specifically for the track, will be provided to the participants that enroll in this program. The Continental GT track bike will come equipped with the same 650cc parallel-twin-cylinder engine. This engine in the street bike produces around 47.4 bhp of maximum power at 7250 rpm. It also generates 52.3 Nm of torque at 5150 rpm.
Royal Enfield has also announced that the training under this new program will be provided by experienced racing professionals to ensure that participants receive high-quality guidance. Interested racers can enroll in this program by visiting the company’s official website. This will be a paid program, and pricing has been shared by the brand on its website.
