That's an impressive ditch.

Didn’t buy the Interceptor to use it for work or even to zip around the city but I may not have the opportunity to escape New York for a while so I’ll have to satisfy myself with urban riding.  It’s good for breaking in the engine at least. Found myself in heavy traffic crossing the Manhattan Bridge so I indulged in a bit of lane filtering, normal practice when I lived in Los Angeles but illegal here and every other state outside of CA so far as I know.

What seat is that? It's close to what I'm thinking about... I want a full length caterpillar tuck and roll, and that one is pretty close

Yes, narrower than the Suez ditch and the Panama ditch, but still impressive ;) And lots of traffic, almost as much ships as Suez and Panama together.

And dug by hand... well, the original Danish version, and probably the first German revision.

Winter sux, it dropped to 16C (61F) today. Undeterred a couple of mates and I hit the mountain.

Postively balmy! Was the flatbed a contingency for the Triumphs?  ;D

Actually there was some banter on that subject, while my case was the strong, the Triumph boys remained in denial.

"the Triumph boys remained in denial."

IMHO denial is a common state for the Triumph boys. 8)

I was hankering for a Bonneville but took a chance with the RE 650 INT and haven't regretted it one bit.
I do wish RE would offer something like the Triumph Bobber. That's just a badass machine IMHO.
