maybe he right here...maybe its scooterbobs alter ego and all we've done is tire him out..Maybe he's taking a short break....Maybe..........Nah

If I HAD an alter ego,it wouldn't be beating up on people for their religious preferences .....   ;) ......

I'm really shocked to read what I've read here.

BRW - Political Correctness- probably right.

Prof Stack - We can't have it both ways. If someone is going to speak of a subject that may be controversial toes will be stepped on.

The fault lies with those who wear their feelings on their sleeves.

Campfire Talk was set up just for the purpose of - er - talking about anything.

Clamp said many, many times that he was throwing out thoughts and would hate to think that he would /  could  effect their beliefs. As I saw it he never flamed anyone First. Only responded in kind.

I think much damage has been done to Campfire talk with this action. May as well eliminate Campfire Talk all together. It can never be trusted again to allow fee speech.

I'm with you Phil. Clamp was Clamp and part of his being Clamp was cage rattling. The best way to respond to him is to not get rattled. Even if religion is your bag what does it REALLY matter what Clamp thinks. If you don't like what's being said in a certain thread, don't read it. ;)

Maybe it really is time to go back to the "Moderator" thread.

I enjoy 'Campfire" . I don't always enjoy the content. I do like the action it generates.

I thought we did a pretty good job policing ourselves, but apparently not so.

Be careful out there!

To the best of my knowledge he has not been "banned" or removed. If he is silent he may my favorite mode "run silent, run deep"

I'll bet 'es lurking in ambush.Better watch out!

You can count on it for Brother Cramp to jump in with both feet and stir the feces, flinging insults, and generally rubbing people the wrong way. Like the infamous Dr. Fu Manchu, "...the world has not heard the last of..." him.

I really had not missed Cramp the motopsycho. I rather enjoyed the peace and harmonious discussions regarding our common intrest in Royal Enfield Motorcycles.

Clamp has behaved like a troll as of late.

I think he is taking some time off from posting.
Whether or not that time off was encouraged is merely conjecture.
No matter where you go, there, you are.
