File this under first world problems but I having trouble deciding 'tween the TEC 2 into 1 or their "cannon" silencers.

I like the traditional look of 2 mufflers but I like the weight savings of the stinger.  I also suspect the 2 into 1 may indeed boost the mid-range torque.

What's a geezer to do?

That poster makes me laugh, as this is something that I actually do...vacuum the driveway!

My business involves plastic fabrication.....I do my sawing and routing of plastic outside my shop/garage because the plastic saw dust is just too messy inside.   The only way to get the plastic chips and dust up from the pavement is to use a vacuum....

The neighbors come by, walking their dogs, and just stare....(neighbors and  dogs both stare)

PS....I also work "in" the garage on all kinds of weird projects, from plastic fabrications, to motorcycles, boats, airplanes, engines, etc.  The  lyrics of this Tom Waits song, typifies what the neighbors must think....they walk by, but seldom stop to talk!

"What's he building?" -Tom Waits

What's he building in there?
What the hell is he building in there?
He has subscriptions to those magazines
He never waves when he goes by
He's hiding something from the rest of us
He's all to himself; I think I know why...
He took down the tire swing from the pepper tree-
He has no children of his own, you see
He has no dog and
He has no friends and his lawn is dying
And what about all those packages he sends?
What's he building in there?
With that hook light on the stairs
What's he building in there?
I'll tell you one thing: he's not building a playhouse for the children
What's he building in there?

Now what's that sound from underneath the door?
He's pounding nails into a hardwood floor
And I swear to God I heard someone moaning low
And I keep seeing the blue light of a T.V. show
He has a router and a table saw
And you won't believe what Mr. Sticha saw!
There's poison underneath the sink, of course
But there's also enough formaldehyde to choke a horse
What's he building in there?
What the hell is he building in there?
I heard he has an ex-wife
In some place called Mayor's Income, Tennessee
And he used to have a consulting business in Indonesia
But what's he building in there?
He has no friends, but he gets a lot of mail
I'll bet he spent a little time in jail
I heard he was up on the roof last night signaling with a flashlight
And what's that tune he's always whistling?
What's he building in there?
What's he building in there?
We have a right to know!

Well, I wonder which exhaust Tom Waits would choose?

OK, I guess we have a consensus......of one.

I'll order the 2 into 1 and the heck with tradition.

the increase in performance of the 2-1 is documented by TEC, it's probably true.  If you don't like it you can get their 1-1 free flow pipes when they come out and slap their cans on them.  Really, over the course of a year it's not really that indulgent to buy both

I have the stock pipes and PowerAge silencers and love the looks and the sound (without baffles).

I just did my first ride with the TEC 2-into-1 pipes. Also a new DNA performance filter and a TEC booster plug.
The weight savings is phenomenal. You will not believe how heavy each OEM muffler and header is.
The new pipes have a really great sound without being too loud. I think they nailed it with this one.
And you can really feel the performance boost!

OK, the 2 into 1 is on its way from Tec.   Thanks for the photos, your bikes looks good.  I like the rear view minus the stock mufflers.  I think it looks sorta fat-assed with the huge stockers.
