Title: 1948 RE 125 (Flying FLea) needs your help
Post by: 48flea on March 18, 2009, 10:07:55 pm
Hi all,

I have just inherited a 48 flying flea in need of complete resturation to get it back to its former glory.

The bike came with its original logbook etc etc and I am now looking for advice/help in locating parts and restoration advice.

i found an online original manual which is going to be helpful im sure - complete with maintenance guidance.

Can anyone please help me in locating parts for this wonderful bike??

Dave

Well, all I can say is you LUCKY bastard... :")

Enjoy!

I suspect parts will be hard to come by but I would start with Hitchcock's in England.

You need to talk with member Fleabite. Look him up in the bottom of the home page. He is from England and has owned his WWII Flea for 35 some odd years. Hope you find all you need for your resto!
