As I understand it the later the model the more metric.  On my '04 I've found whitworth, standard and metric.  That's why I carry an adjustable wrench in my tool kit.

I think that by 2007 everything is metric. I haven't found any big surprises on my '08. But they do use a lot of different sizes metric with no rhyme or reason.

I guess knowing the eccentrics of these I should be ready for anything, so I suppose I should find a cheap set of whitworth wrenches.  Better to be prepared.

Changing the 3 clutch hub bolts and spun the head off one.  It isn't metric and it isn't US, so I imagine they're whitworth.  CMW carrys them.

Asked Kevin about that, and he said he might but had to consider it.  Supposedly my 07 Military is a metric but have found the same.  There are whitworth on them just not as many as my old brit bikes from the 60's and 70's.  Will.

There are even more thread types. You need to look in the parts catalog for your year of bike. It will list different thread types associated with your serial # on your motor. I found very few Whitworth threads. The majority of mounting hardware on my bike is BSF or CEI. Custom Fasteners LTD in England, www.custom-fasteners.co.uk has all the nuts, bolts, studs etc. for your Bullet in stainless or chrome.

Thanks for the info. I'll check it out when I need to order fasteners for my baby.  Will.
