Cruised around the neighborhood for about 45 minutes.  I hit reserve just as I was pulling into my apartment complex, so I'll finally be able to find out how much the tank holds now since pounding in the sides.  Bike seems to be running pretty good, no misfires at all, but I still need to replace the valve springs and primary chain in the near future.

I took my C5 out for a little spin. That PCV is a pretty handy little device.

Nice little 300 mile ride from Laguna to Borrago Springs and back.  Never a quiver and got 76 MPG.  God how I love this bike, and California weather.

Today I brought her home!

She (as well as the car behind her) needs some cleaning up, but she ran like a champ - with the occasional backfire, of course. She certainly seemed more spirited with that PCV all hooked up though, that's for sure.

Did you reposition the tail light? That looks very high on the back fender.

Also, I rode into work today. Riding season in Colorado has started.

It's the rectangular tail light from the G5 (I think?) It's what the shop had after my accident last year. Looks alright, but I can't wait to get a less insane looking tail light.

I also installed the Lycett seat and pillion last night. Pillion was missing a piece, but the saddle went on like a charm thanks to the board here, and rides like a dream. I also rode to work. I'm the only bike in the lot today.

Roughly the same for Colorado. The real question though, is how willing are you to ride in below freezing temps.

Very willing!  I've got decent cold-weather gear.  Our problem is the roads - my street:

They'll look just like this - wet and covered with sand and salt - until every molecule of snow is melted, and beyond... :(

That 300 days includes some damned chilly riding, but hey, I dress for the weather! :)
