Washed her, cleaned the shit outta the chain, lubed it. Road to the bike shop for them to see and retify my tyre problem, got home, topped up the oil. More chain lube while shes hot, and gave the carby a quick tune, idle was getting way high and was flat.

Edit: Also refitted bar end mirrors after mine were destroyed/fell off.

I asked if they could make them to say Bullet 500

Well, they call them "bullet" handlebar ends, so they ought to!

Took the canvas saddlebags off (didn't like them much) and put a new set of throw overs I got from a former bullet owner.  Very nice and practical.  Also got a tank bag.

I'll see what I can do.  I don't have a camera, though.  I'm seeing what my phone can do.

Good for you Bill!  BTW, I forget, why exactly is it you've owned so many different Enfields in such a relatively short span of time?

Put blue lock tight on all threads of the key locks.  They have been vibrating loose.  Also installed canvas Musette bags. Having fun !!

I installed my new exhaust and painted the headlight housing, turn signals, and shift lever. Next up is wrapping the exhaust and painting kickstart lever, side stand, and rear brake lever.

Still unpacking, getting set up in new digs in Florida. I put my float charger on my 2010 G5 Deluxe, where it sits in our entry foyer (no room in the garage yet). I shouldn't take the bike for a ride, because when I recently renewed my insurance - I did so for Florida, not realizing my Georgia plates would be cancelled & no good. I have heard the North Port police are very strict & a seatbelt ticket costs $200. - I can't imagine what bad plates might equal, jail time?
Soon as I visit the DMV with my complete family tree & bags of $$, I'll be good to ride.
Best Wishes, Craig McClure

Graham, no PM because I didn't really have much of a response. Any chance of an air leak at the head? That or the EFI is still sorting itself out. How long has the EFI Muffler been on there?
By the way, nice bike. I like the colors

I think the monsoons season is finally over because I've been able to ride the RE to work the last two days  :)  Not sure if Phx is still under water though...    8)

Nope.  Phoenix has once again risen.
Monday night my back yard got 4.3 inches (109mm) of rain.  :o

My back room was flooded with 1/2 inch (12.7mm) of water but it is drying out.  I used my wife's carpet cleaner to dry much of the carpet.  It needed cleaning anyway.

The "pop up" dining canopy that shades my RE buckled and started to collapse but I managed to straighten it out and it's doing its job again.  The only damage to the motorcycle was the rear view mirrors were knocked out of alignment.  Their all fixed up now so everything is fine here.  :)

Rain? Whazzat! Actually got some flooding out in Riverside and Hemet. Saw a picture of a car up to its roof in water.
Nary a drop at my house!

We've been getting lots of rain in Denver too.  I've only ridden maybe a dozen times or so this summer.    :-\
