I have a center-stand, but I don't fill up my tank all the way on my AVL or gas will leak out just cornering.  I've got a handful of these cork-gaskets from NField gear that work pretty good and I put a fresh one on in Spring.  3 gallons is the tip-top most I'll put in if I've run on reserve for a few miles but I usually do about 2.7/2.8 gallons per fill up.

(I looked on the site for them but couldn't find them... I've only phone-ordered them).

I dropped mine the second day I had it. I was stopping at a stop sign and my pants cuff got hung up on the shifter or foot peg. I couldn't get my foot down and over I went. Put a little ding in my gas tank where the switch box got into it.

On my way to work this morning .....  7 miles down the road the engine just dies on me (at 65 mph) and I had to negotiate my way across 2 lanes of morning text'ers to find the shoulder.....

After a few calm works beginning with F.  I noticed the engine lamp was not lit, and, did not light-up when I turned the key off-on-off-on-off-on-off-on-off-on   (more calm F words).

yep..... kicked the sidestand out & back in and she fired right up.

I know what I'm doing this weekend !

It only takes a sec to unplug the switch, why wait till the weekend...

After work I took my scoot over and picked up my new Monkey, Springer Charlie the jack russell terrier.    He did good on the ride home.

He is a 2 year old stray I got from the pound.  Seems very cool so far and the wife loves him.

You are a Saint, Mr. Garbone.  I mean that sincerely, and whole-hardheartedly.  Thanks for giving an old(er) dog a good home.  He looks like a cool dude!  You think you can find goggles his size?

He looks kinda worried right now but after he's figured it out he will be telling the other dogs he sees, "Ya Dude!  You have to sit in a car and your lucky if you can poke your nose out the window.
I'm right out there in the wind and loving it!  Neener neener neener!"

The medium ones I have fit him ok, a bit large.   I will be looking on fleabay for a smaller set.

He was skittish until we got about 100ft down the road,  then he was an old hand standing up and looking into the wind.
