I made up a couple small placards to put with the Indian when I'm at shows and meets.    ;D ;D ;D

Nice. :)

Are you sure about the 36 horsepower shown?

By Miles The Best!  Royal Enfield , says the 1958 Indian Trailblazer was based on the Super Meteor. (p131)

Royal Enfield  The Postwar Models , says the 1955-1962 Super Meteor has a horsepower of 40 @ 5500 rpm.  (p168)

Maybe they detuned it when they exported the Trailblazer but I don't know why they would do that.

According to Tom at ace.cafe, it was to his understanding that the Trailblazer was rated at 36 hp so who knows.  It could be 36, it could be 40, I know the manufactures in those days tended to exaggerate the actual power output.    ;)

I also know that before the end of this year I'm making a few passes down Bandimere Speedway and going to find someone that can dyno bikes.   I want to get some baselines before I do the performance rebuild in the not too distant future.
