Well, in the low 60s this AM here in Florida. I broke out the leather jacket and full face helmet as my blood has thinned a bit. Quite a nice ride into work.
On the way in riding down a 4 lane divided road at about 50mph I noticed a scooter guy pulling out into traffic from 7-11. The guy had on shorts and a t-shirt and was holding a cup of coffee in his left hand. :-\ Hmmm...

He was probably just trying to impress the ladies.

I was out for a ride on the Bullet yesterday, and it was in the low 60s in the mid-afternoon when I went out. We had frost in the morning, and it was about 34 degrees, but it got sunny and warmed up in the afternoon.
I needed the leather jacket, and a sweatshirt under it.
It was the first time in a long while that I needed the enrichment lever to get the bike started.
And I hadn't been riding for a while, because we've had ridiculous amounts of rain over the last couple of weeks.
I had a nice ride, though.
Bike is running great.
I had changed to winter oil, 10w-40, and it didn't leak a drop.

53 when i left out this morning. only a 3 mile trip. just got to my afternoon class, 15 miles away, and only 55. feels a little cooler than that at 60mph. not bad at all. i'll probably need some warmer gloves before doing this route in february at 20 deg.

No doubt some Alasken on vacation enjoying the hot weather.
I thought that was you, you were going too fast. :D

Funny you should say that because while walking the dog this afternoon I saw a kid on a big scooter holding a coffee in his left hand, wearing a football jersey, jeans, and sneakers -- without a helmet -- in busy city traffic. All I could think was 'good luck with that.'

I've put a few miles in the past couple weeks, I suppose it is averaging about 40, but like we say here if it isn't snowing, it's riding time. Will.
