In the pursuit of making DugDug look older that it is old new side boxes fitted to both sides. The black looks more old style to me.
Shame the pinstriping and sticker are not in silver to match the decal on the tank.

Added thick wall alloy handlebars and rubber old style grips. Less vibes? Not really as it is a 500 single.  ;D
Made a sidestand foot from the top off an oil filter wrench and then an old round bar end mirror. 10mm hole drilled into the foot of the sidestand to hold it all together. Works ok in sand. Better than the standard sidestand.  :o
DugDug sticker.
Kriega saddlebags.

Nice.
Is that sidestand foot on a pivoting head so regardless of the angle of the ground, it sits flat?

Your bike has the same crappy side stand as my '08 AVL. I'd have thought Enfield would have put a decent one on by now, but it all comes down to save a dollar per bike. And I can't blame them.

Mine is "OK", but it's tinfoil compared to what I'm used to. Don't trust it on hot asphalt or medium & fine sand.
RI USA '08 Black AVL Classic.9.8:1 ACEhead/manifold/canister. TM32/Open bottle/hot tube removed. Pertronix Coil. Fed mandates removed. Gr.TCI. Bobber seat. Battery in right side case. Decomp&all doodads removed. '30s Lucas taillight/7" visored headlight. Much blackout & wire/electrical upgrades.

Looks good.
I have an Amal conversion on one my efi 500.
Not seen a euro4 with the conversion before.
Does the cv carb have the throttle position sensor fitted?
What have you done to keep the mil off because of missing injector?

Thanks.
I've fitted a wiring loom from a 350 carb bike  complete with Ammeter and TCI unit, so no MIL to worry about. Also fitted stator and rotor from the same bike.
The CV carb does have a TPS sensor that plugs into the TCI.

The Euro 4 bike has a couple more sensors and ABS to worry about, but I've already deleted my ABS.

I converted my C5 to Amal carb from EFI because the bike came with an after market muffler when I bough the bike. It would not run correctly. To fix it was either a Power Commander or Hitchcocks Amal conversion. Went Amal because it was cheaper than a Power Commander and dyno to set up the EFI to match the muffler. Plus I prefer jets and needles than electrons.

I lifted the top of the bike cover to get rid of the rain that had pooled in it - yes, it's been that sort of weather.
