tTrying to piece together the mystery of my meteor minor,what are the thoughts on this brake,effectiveness? It seems to be correct.Is it a decent brake?Mind you I ride a 2003 c.i bullet.How does it measure up?Thanks in advance.

Get the hub cleaned up, the wheel rebuilt and the inside of the brake drum skimmed, then have a brake specialist fit some oversize linings to the shoes and skim the linings to match the brake drum ID. Bed the new linings in carefully and that's probably as much front brake as you want for an Avon ribbed front tire/tyre, assuming you're staying with the original 17" rim size.

Thank you Adrian.I was considering a newer bullet dls brake,if it worked with the fork,i dont know if i will like the 17" rim to be honest.

The brake plate anchor lug will be in the wrong position for the slot in the TLS brake plate. A normal set of RE Leading axle forks will let you use a 19" TLS (or disk!) front wheel, an 18" rear wheel rim is also a good idea. This will possibly need different fenders/mudguards, and the OEM center stand might then be too short!
