I recently had a tumble and bent my brake pedal. They're only mild steel so it should be easy to bend it back into some sort of shape, but they're also cheap, so I bought a new one and will carry the straightened old one in the sidecar as a spare for when one of my mates throws his Himmy into the trees and needs a replacement on the side of the road.

This video shows the change over. Nothing dramatic, in fact, easier that I thought it would be. This video hasn't been edited for content so it shows the full horror of the job.
