I would like to get rid of the heel toe shifter on my Meteor. What do I need to buy to do it??

I found this part number, RAE00054/B
I don't kmow if that is what I need, but from the post I read, it is.

Look down a few posts and go to the second page. It looks like someone modifies an original one.
