The Baker Express or all comers?

I have tank pads on my Orange Crush, and I think they look great.

After looking at that Baker Express with the GT seat and cowling, I know what I'm doing next. Although I doubt they make a cowl in orange.... so, black it will be!

Nice pics all. As far as tank pads go, the bike looks better without them!
Depends on the tank color. I could agree for the Baker Express or Ravishing Red dual color tanks, but if I see an Interceptor with chrome or single color tank without tank pads, it looks as if something is missing.
Btw.: I'm curious how much of that tank pads Motone sold to RE owners, and how much to Bonneville owners for which they were intended originally...

Have to say I'm not a fan of them on any bike, but they work better on different colours, that's for sure. Opinions vary  ;)
But keep the photos coming, with or without tank-pads, love the idea of this thread!

In the 60s I had a Triumph with tank pads they were there so that
the tank could be gripped with the knees, not for their looks.
Today my other bike is a 1966 Speed Twin with tank pads, personally I think they add to the retro look on the Interceptor with the added bonus of giving more control in bends.
I’ve also fitted fork gaiters, another retro throwback to the sixties and personal choice. 👍

I probably will eventually for a bit of added comfort, although stock seat is not that bad.  👍
