Interesting.   Look at ocean going vessels over 1000 tons,  that is a perfect example of what over taxing an industry gets you...

Good question.  We should start a poll.  How many people on this site own a Royal Enfield?  That should pretty much give us an accurate count.  ;D

I found this registry table interesting.

http://www.bts.gov/publications/national_transportation_statistics/html/table_01_11.html

This table was actually pretty interesting.  Who counts this stuff?

Dunno, but my hats off to them .

If the question of how many R.E.'s in the US gets answered it think it will then beg the questions; How many are actively registered for the road ? and have their owners been to the forum yet ? ;D

well  the number of bikes sold would be a start , then take it from there,

although the uk has import controls , a lot of early bullets were riidden here in the 70-80s and just "won" the chassis numbers of dead reddich models ,

A few years ago In a telephone conversation with a decent and very  knowledgeable fellow named Tate at CMW, I asked how many Bullets had been imported ?

The politely delivered response was "that information is proprietary"

Given that CMW is a privately owned company I did not press the issue.

I know of 6 in North Carolina;  2 in Marion, Rick O'Shea, AceCafe has 2, and I have one.  I'm the only one in a 30 mile radius.
