Just wondering if the Hunter is fitted with different relays to early Meteors or Classic 350s reborn.
There is loads of grease around the contacts although I’ve not had any starting issues yet.
Relay details :- RAC00000
730-1A-1201-E-RE coil 110 ohms.

Yes sorry about that, I misread the last digit. As you say the it is RAC00009.
I wonder which bikes have the updated relays then, maybe the Super Meteor 650 or maybe all the newer REs have them?

every now and then my classic 350(2022) would feel as if it was going to cut out. so I found this video regarding  relay to much grease ,so hopefully it'll cure it.

I have just removed the excess grease from the 4 relays on my Hunter 350.
Inside the right hand panel are three relays marked PWR, PUMP and AUX START.
There is a 4th relay marked AHO hidden away near the diagnostic plug. Access to this is possible with the seat removed (just !).
I presume that the PUMP relay operates the fuel pump.
Does anyone know the function of the other relays ?
I don’t have a problem with the bike, just trying to understand more about it.
Thanks.

In your Owner's Manual, most likely on one of the last pages, if it is the same as the Meteor manual, you will find a QR code for the electrical schematic. If you have a look at that schematic, you should be able to trace which relays serve which circuit.

Thanks for identifying  "AUX START-auxiliary starter relay"
...............

I'm glad you know these things !  :)

Let me ask ya :  If you were hooking up a plug for HEATED GEAR , would you hook in to the "AUX START-auxiliary starter relay" ?

What's wrong with a fused SAE connector hooked directly to the battery?

Or, as I have done, connect one of these https://www.healtech-electronics.com/products/tb/ direct to the battery and then you have power for various things....

Be careful with heated gear though, some of it will draw more power than the bike can supply  :'(

Not seeing a price on that website. Mind sharing what it cost you? Thanks.

I have the 16A version which cost 59.99 GBP.  I run power to a Zumo XT cradle on the handlebars, a pair of small Denali LED lights on the engine bars and a DIN socket under the seat for heated gear.  Nice that it delays providing power until the engine is running, as per the RE headlight.
