WTH is this thing making a windscreen out of a cutting board? The people on Facebook worry me sometimes.

I've used clear, flexible cutting board material to defend the $200+ headlight lens on my BMW K1200.
(sport bikes with gummy tires throw rocks)
It is handy stuff. Cheap and dishwasher safe ;).

I once worked with a guy who made a fairing out of cardboard and duct tape.  When it got wet, he'd make another one.  He rode a Suzuki water buffalo.

He also roofed his house, well shack,  with tarpaper.  Just sheets of tarpaper draped over the rafters.  There's a level beyond cheap that gets into the crazy range.

I know I always carry a spare chopping board, along with zip ties, duct tape, string, nail clippers and a butter knife.
