Has anyone seen, tried, or purchased the new "soft-touch material" solo seat for the Continental GT 650 Royal Enfield part #1990495? Interested in your opinion if so...

This has my attention as the cost online is much cheaper than having one custom-made. I may just spend the money on this and test it out. The stock solo seat is not fun after a 30-40min ride.

...made my decision, ordering now!  :P

EDIT
Placed an order and it's coming from India. I will post here once received and let you know. Found it for$110 shipped... you just cant beat that. I hope it truly is more comfortable than the stock solo seat. I think it's worth the $100 gamble.

My guess is that it is a stock seat with different material and will still be uncomfortable.
Current bikes.

BMW R1200GS
Honda CRF250L
BSA B25SS

Still young enough not to care, too old to remember why.

Worse case you will have a seat base to add a gel cell etc. You can do it yourself or locally. Just use the same cover and it won't be at all pricey.

I quite like the look of the new Interceptor one https://www.royalenfield.com/in/en/gma/1990482/

Black ice which seller did you order from? Used them before? I am a little nervous about choosing the wrong vendor.  Thanks

Just ordered mine from royal-sparezo on eBay.  It's supposed to arrive by July 9.  The seat is available from other eBay vendors for less but I've found royal-sparezo to be reliable.  I've waited as long as three months for stuff to come from India or Thailand.

I just bought tall crash guards from sparezo. 4 day turn around. They are also very good at answering email questions.

For those interested my "Latest Generation" Touring seat arrived today. 20mm added seat to peg height for the pillion and 15mm for the rider. Old and new differences.

Ciao

Will do. It's definitely better for the rider and pillion with regards to knee bend angle esp for the pillion. My wifes around 5'6" in the old money and said with the std seat she was tucked up a bit knee wise hence I bought this seat to improve the situation. I may make some adaptors for the pillion pegs to lower them an inch or so as well. Sitting on the bike without riding it it def feels firmer and with less knee angle.
