I'm an idiot and didn't lock it, or I'm unlucky and something was faulty - my right hand side panel flew off never to be seen again!

Currently the stock side panel locking mechanism and 'bottom triangle' is out of stock.

Does anyone know of any alternative replacements? I've seen Hitchcocks do a bag that replaces the side panel, but the black one is out of stock at the moment (here - https://www.rawandrugged.in/product/re-interceptor-continental-gt-side-panel-bag-black-right-side/ )

Thanks!

I can't speak directly about that particular product - most of those types use the original bottom piece of the cover with the key/lock.

EBay generally will show many covers and some have the lower triangular brackets.  Usually you have to buy the pair and they don't alway show the key lock so beware.

I'd try Hitcocks in England if they're back ordered in North America.
Know-it-alls and blowhards will please go elsewhere.

Yeah I have tried Hitchcocks but sold out... https://accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/43724?ref_page=Interceptor%20650

I'm so surprised there isn't an alternative to the side panel locking system. Thank you anyway both

Sorry for the problem. Perhaps one of the triagular leather pouches is the alternative at present.

BAAK has some covers of their own design but they may not appeal to you.

Looks like the standard replacement panels are in stock on the parts book, you even get the full European "Interceptor" logo:

I am about to switch to a side pouch instead of a plastic cover on the right side. If it helps you, I have more pieces of the stainless steel "bottom triangle" with or without the lock hole (I want to relocate the lock into the pouch). Or I can send you a DXF drawing of the triangle if you want.

That looks fantastic, that's very kind of you but I don't have the facilities to make these. Looks great thought, I'd love to see photos of the finished product!
