I've just come across this article from a few years ago, some very interesting designs if they ever manage to rehabilitate the diesel engine

Some interesting concepts but they all need some serious styling make-overs! Only the Bulldog looks reasonable, the rest make my eyes bleed  ;D
The scooter manufacturer at least knows the target audience just wants utility and it's specced well for that market except for the glaring omission of price. In fact, none of those bikes have their cost mentioned  ::)
No wonder we no longer have a motor industry

Reminds me a little of the CAKE modular electric motorcycle, more stylish, but similar in concept.  https://ridecake.com/en/

Regardless, however, this thread doesn't really belong in the section for Royal Enfield News.   The article doesn't even show a picture of the Taurus in its diesel moto summary.

Seeing as how you can make your own diesel out of old cooking oil, I'm not really seeing the problem with diesels. Railroads are huge diesel users, no one seems to be holding their feet to the fire. Toyota has run their superb D-4D automotive diesel for years, it gets better mileage than the gas motor by about 20%. Amazing it hasn't shown up in their Prius line already. I'd look hard at that Hero.
A trifecta of Pre-Unit Bullets: a Red Deluxe 500, a Green Standard 500, and a Black ES 350.

You wouldn't have to travel much further than Columbia to do it either, if they actually release it.

One would think that Harley partnering with Hero might mean that some of Hero's small, Indian made machines would get sent this way, but it seems HD lives on a one way street.

Hero declared intent to penetrate the US market, half a decade ago, but changed their mind.   https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/technology/auto/hero-motocorp-shuts-down-us-company-after-failing-to-launch-bikes-4568671.html
