Thanks for your thoughts. I am going for a look similar to that classic BMW R75/5 pre toaster tank vibe. How do you like your cowled saddle comfort wise? Is there an improvement in the long term comfort over stock or is it more of a cosmetic change?

Love those R75/5 BMWs - there are a number here in Austin and I've seen them on the roads quite a bit. Most still look amazing, which is testament to the build quality and the fastidiousness of their owners.

As Jackstraw noted, opinions vary on pretty much everything in this forum. For me, I do notice a slight improvement in comfort from the stock Interceptor seat. Apparently the foam is marginally better. The cowl is nothing but cosmetic.

Many forum members have gone for aftermarket Corbin seats and rave about them.

About a 40 mile loop from my home.  Nice place to stop when you've got nowhere to go and plenty of time to get there.  It's only an inch or so from NYC or Philly.

Eastern State Penitentiary is a fun place to visit. Also somewhat sobering, considering the history and nature of the place.
How did you like Al Capone's cell?

It's the same all over the world, money is the keyword, it opens possibilities others don't have, even in prison today....( I know...!!)
I remember Al Capone's cel in Eastern State well, it was very luxurious indeed.
I most remember the "spooky" feeling, walking around in those dark, cold en derelict gangways lined up with former inmate cell's....
Also the layout of the complete Philadelphia prison was followed by many prisons all over the world...!!

Yes, they called it the "panopticon" layout, one guard at the center of the wagon wheel could look down all eight ranges.

Really happy with the bike right now, with the full Öhlins setup (done by an active racer) it is sooo confidence inspiring :). Damn close to perfection for me now.

Nice- it's looking great!
I think I'll be in for the 16t front sprocket, then I'm done.
My bike just glides.  Goes good, slows good, sounds good, posture on the bike is right for me.
