Back in the Stone Age .jpg was a common extension denoting a graphic file. For some reason in the last decade or two Apple has decided to use JPEG instead of JPG. For the rest of the world this is no problem but anyone new to this forum simply gets an error message that their pictures won't load because they aren't using one of the antique extensions. It takes patience and a sharp eye to see why a perfectly good picture won't load. (I don't have either)

Can we please get the admins to update the software to accept JPEG pictures? It will save a lot of frustration for those few people who use Apple products to take their pictures.

Thanks.

Why not just rename your files? JPEG to .jpg

Indeed. But "Olhogrider's" point is well taken: Newcomers with Apple gear may not quickly (or ever) realize the necessary workaround and become needlessly frustrated. It's a sensible Forum mod for the mods to consider. We all like pictures, right? So, let's make it easy.
So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.

Hello, thanks for bringing this up. I have updated the settings on the forum and hopefully this will allow users to post the format type for the future. Test image attached, feel free to test this out for yourself
