Looks like your sump plug has been mangled a bit. Just be careful as it doesn't take much to really hack the bolt head. PO's tend to tighten them as hard as they can just to annoy the next owner. Only try getting it off when the missus is not around as usually the swearing and cussing becomes very offensive.

Remove the side plug from the gearbox. oil should dribble out. It may have grease or liquid grease in the box so it may not dribble out. Whatever the case may be, I just use the same engine oil as I use in the motor. To fill, unscrew that plug at the top (it looks like the same plug as the side plug) and pour in your oil slowly. It doesn't take much. As soon as it starts to dribble out the side, seal it up.
Aarrrgh, an oil drip!
